from an oil spill in the ocean
Historically speaking, nature is naturally natural. However, we live in a world that is challenging our understanding of the natural nature of nature. A new breed of rubble has formed in our oceans from natural sediment mixing with plastic waste. This object of slow disaster, which looks very much like a rock, has been named plastiglomerate. These plastiglomerates were discovered along the coastline of Taean County, the location of the country’s largest oil spill.
