from a crumbling house

Many houses in Romania are in disrepair. After the fall of the Iron Curtain and Romania’s entry into the European Union, residents, especially younger ones, left. A steep population decline created ghost towns. This piece of shingle is from a crumbling house on Eminescu street, named after beloved Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu.
